JERI: 14 November 2017

The Road and Infrastructure Study Day (JERI in French) will take place on 14 November 2017. We thank Nibuxs, Infralab and the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne for their collaboration in the implementation of this 4th edition.

The name of this day is: "Attacking the pavements".

CONTEXTE

Through this provocative slogan, everything is said. Pavements are increasingly under attack: stresses, constraints, increased intensity and volume of traffic loads, climatic conditions and priority to the environment. Yet, our businesses are committed to maintaining a level of service at all times.

This conference will answer two questions:

What tools do we have to guarantee reliable infrastructures?

Roads, because of their environmental impact, are increasingly perceived as sources of nuisance. How can they be defended in this a priori hostile context?
